The Modern PUV Caravan in South Luzon – Lucena City, Quezon last February 7, 2020.

NFinite IT Solutions Services, Inc., an IT solutions provider here in the Philippines, joined the Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program (PUVMP) Caravan organized by the LTFRB Region IV. The event was spearheaded by Director Col. Renwick K. Rotaquio, together with his team, in partnership with a private sector. LTFRB Chairman Atty. Martin B. Delgra III promoted the success of the program implementation. It was also announced that Engr. Nelson Sison, the City Planning Officer of Lucena City, will soon be responsible for the Local Public Transport Route Plan (LPTRP).

On-October-2017-the-Land-Transportation-Franchising-and-Regulatory-Board-LTFRB-and-the-Department-of-Trade-and-Industry-DTI-presented-sixteen-prototype-jeepneys_These-models-were-all-locally-manufactured-and-based-on-guidelines-set-by-the-DOTr_Features-include_Euro-4-engines_CCTV-Cameras_GPS_Automated-fare-collection-systems_Front-facing-seats_New-exits-on-the-right-hand-side

A total of 224 attendees joined the PUVMP Caravan, these includes the operators, commuters, and drivers. The organizers showcased their latest gadgets and modernized units and later surprised the guests with raffle prizes and company freebies. 

A resounding “Yes!” was heard in the venue as the participants were asked if they were ready for the Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program (PUVMP). Everyone getting on board to have and provide a comfortable life for all Filipino Commuters and Drivers through a safe, reliable, convenient, affordable, and environmentally sustainable public transportation system in the country.

The-government-believes-that-the-programs-environmental-and-economic-benefits-would-be-felt-by-commuters-operators-and-drivers-alike-commuters-will-profit-from-the-changes-in-routes-and-optimized-networks-Because-of-the-reduced-traffic-congestion-and-pollution-drivers-will-have-higher-monthly-pay-and-benefits-as-well-as-better-health-Finally-with-less-traffic-operators-will-be-able-to-take-more-passengers-and-save-money-under-the-franchising-plan-by-pooling-services

 The event was joined by the implementing agencies [Office of Transportation Cooperatives (OTC); Land Bank of the Philippines; Development Bank of the Philippines; Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA)] who presented their roles regarding the concerns and queries of the stakeholders.
